Information Doesn't Transform People

Every day we consume more content than previous generations could have imagined.

Podcasts.

Videos.

Books.

Newsletters.

AI-generated summaries.

Endless scrolling.

Yet despite having more information than ever before, many people still feel anxious, disconnected, and spiritually exhausted.

Why?

Because transformation requires more than information.

Reading about forgiveness is not the same as forgiving someone.

Learning about prayer is not the same as praying.

Knowing Scripture is not the same as allowing Scripture to reshape your heart.

Technology can deliver information in seconds.

Transformation happens over time through surrender, obedience, and the work of the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 139 ends with a powerful invitation: "Search me, O God, and know my heart."

No technology can do that work for us.

It can remind us.

It can encourage us.

It can organize our thoughts.

But only God transforms the human heart.

As AI becomes more integrated into our lives, we must be careful not to mistake consuming content for becoming Christlike.

Growth isn't measured by how much you know.

It's measured by who you're becoming.
