Mission

Here’s the "Six Steps to Growth & Healing" framework:

Session 1: Understanding Your Trauma​

  • Identifying the sources of trauma and their impact is crucial, along with recognizing emotional, mental, and physical responses.  Additionally, learning grounding techniques can help with emotional regulation.

Session 2: Processing Emotions & Triggers

  • Exploring emotions like fear, guilt, shame, and anger can provide insight into trauma's impact. Identifying triggers, developing coping strategies, and practicing self-soothing techniques. 

Session 3: Reframing Negative Thought Patterns

  • Recognizing and challenging self-blame and limiting beliefs is essential for healing. Understanding the brain’s fight, flight, or freeze response can support rebuilding a positive self-image and fostering self-compassion.​

Session 4: Strengthening Emotional Resilience

  • Developing confidence in managing trauma-related stress is key to resilience. Exploring relaxation techniques like deep breathing and visualization, along with practicing boundary-setting and assertiveness, can enhance emotional well-being.

Session 5: Reclaiming Control & Empowerment

  • Regaining a sense of power and agency is crucial for healing. Exploring personal strengths, acknowledging achievements despite trauma, and engaging in self-care and healthy lifestyle choices can support long-term well-being.

Session 6: Moving Forward & Creating a New Narrative​

  • Developing a long-term self-care and coping plan provides stability for healing. Exploring forgiveness, when applicable, and creating a vision for the future beyond trauma can foster growth and empowerment.
